General Refurbishment of the I5 ward at the Großhadern Clinic

Before the relocation of parts of the oral and maxillofacial surgery department from the city centre to Grosshadern, the I5 ward at the Munich Grosshadern University Hospital required a complete refurbishment and upgrading to state-of-the-art standards. The reconstruction measures included a functional optimization of the layout for ensuring a smooth workflow in nursing care, the dismantling of old equipment, a fire protection upgrade as well as a face lift to the ward for meeting modern requirements on nursing care. The reconstruction works were carried out while the clinic remained fully operational.
