Modernisation of the entrance area at the Clinic for Psychiatry

Kai Otto Architekten were commissioned to modernise the entrance area at the Max Planck Clinic for Psychiatry and thus designed various lighting and furnishing concepts in close coordination with the user and in compliance with fire protection regulations. Textured surfaces (3D wall panels, carpet flooring and an acoustic drywall ceiling) improve the acoustics and create a pleasant ambience. The clinic is accessed via two automatic sliding glass doors.

The foyer with its new improved ambience serves both as an entrance and a reception area for visitors as well as for patients.
