As part of the Economic Stimulus Package I, the central building "S" on the Max Planck Campus in Munich-Martinsried was energetically renovated. All measures were carried out during ongoing operations. The replacement of the windows was associated with a PCB refurbishment.

The main components of the refurbishment were

  • 360 sqm element facade with parallel sliding and tilting window 1.80 x 1.80 m,
  • 360 sqm mullion-transom-facade in the corridors as a replacement for single pane glazing,
  • 320 sqm roof area.
