General Redevelopment and Structural Alteration of Building for Laboratories of the Max-Planck-Institute for Neurobiology in Martinsried

According to the stimulus package the roofs of the Max-Planck-Institute for Neurobiology at the Max-Planck-Campus in Munich-Martinsried have been redeveloped energetically. The construction took place during ongoing operations.

Major components of the redevelopment have been:

  • 3,000 sqm additional insulation in accordance to the EnEV 2009 for new buildings with 120 mm foam glass
  • Renewal of the roof connections for insulation of the façade in future
  • Renewal of the protective gravel surface
  • Photovoltaic system
