New medical laboratory at RoMed Klinikum Rosenheim

The RoMed Klinikum planned the new construction of the medical laboratory at the Rosenheim site. A functional and spatial program was drawn up for the project, which was coordinated with regard to the intended funding in accordance with KHG / BayKrG. To ensure an optimal laboratory environment, the plans were closely coordinated with the future users and the hospital hygiene and occupational safety departments. The new central laboratory was enlarged and modernized from the previous 350 square meters to around 500 square meters. The move enabled the range of tests to be expanded to include endocrinological test series. Around 7000 laboratory results are generated every day. The result is modern offices and laboratories for immunology, diagnostics and microscopy - rooms that guarantee a safe and hygienic medical laboratory workflow.

The renovation work was carried out while the clinic continued to operate.
