Umbau und Sanierung Labor- und Bürogeschoss MPI Psychiatrie [Übersetzung ausstehend]

Conversion and refurbishment measures were carried out on the premises of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich in connection with the appointment of a new director. The project comprised two partial measures: firstly, the conversion and refurbishment of the offices on the 2nd floor of the Kraepelin Building, and secondly, the conversion of the entire 2nd floor of the laboratory building.

The (17) offices were renovated and partially restructured. The kitchenette was enlarged and modernized. Glass partitions create bright, open office and meeting rooms. In the laboratory area, modern laboratory space has been created as well as four microscope rooms, a workshop room, a shared room, a scullery and a nitrogen room.

As the department is dedicated to neuronal research into feelings and emotions, the element of color played a major role in the redesign of the rooms.
