On the site of the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology in Martinsried the outdoor area as well as the entrance situation of the side entrance of the building units O and P were redesigned.

Due to a new conception the garbage container was located close to the entrance is now displaced. To improve the access area and delivery situation of the building the existing floor tiles were renewed.
Moreover the outdoor lighting has been upgraded. In case of emergency the entrance of the assembly point is now fully lighted. These modifications increased the value of the outdoor area.

Polygonal planting beds are running along the new paths and are planted with flowering shrubs and flowering cherries. In the middle of the adjacent green area an organic wood deck has been setup and can be used for varying events.

The outdoor area is now structured by planting beds. The new space is now ready for furnitures and invites for a relaxed staying.
