New Lounge area at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried

Kai Otto Architekten upgraded the central staircase in the so-called 'Small Star' on the premises of the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry and created a pleasant lounge area for relaxation, breaks and communication for the employees of all departments located in this section of the building. The lounge area is characterized by the casual seating, a special lighting design and the spatial separation from the actual staircase.
