In the clinic of the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry in Munich's district Schwabing, a new cafeteria for employees and patients was to be established. Since the room has no windows and gets daylight only from the adjacent rooms, great importance was attached to good lighting and light-coloured materials.
The cafeteria is meant to be a place of communication and exchange for the Institute's employees. A flexible lighting system makes it possible to adjust the lighting so that this room near the lecture hall can also be used for other purposes.
