The design concepts of the single family house in a rural site close to Erding consists of the addition of three building parts:

  • The actual family house in the south, a parking garage with adjacent workshop behind in the north and an additionally connected transparent cube with glass façade and glass roof, containing the stairs and the bathrooms.

Due to the compact arrangement of the façade openings, there are still remaining spacious parts of plastered walls despite a high proportion of glass façade. This exterior design creates clear structure and quietness as well as a high thermal insulating value.
